On Wednesday, Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu has announced new regulation regarding the Teacher Eligibility Test qualification for the candidates.
According to the sources, it has been decided that the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) will no longer be required for Graduate Teachers (GT) and Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) of Secondary Schools.
And for the Graduate and Post-Graduate Teachers will have to appear in separate examination which is newly introduced by the Assam Government, TET-cum-Recruitment Test.
