Nissan Motor India has unveiled a first look at its latest C-SUV, the All-New Nissan Tekton, ahead of its full launch in 2026. Drawing design inspiration from the iconic Nissan Patrol, the Tekton aims to combine bold aesthetics with robust reliability, premium craftsmanship, and advanced technology features. Named from the Greek word meaning “craftsman” or “architect,” the Tekton embodies Nissan’s ethos of precision engineering and innovation, targeting customers “shaping their world” through careers, passions, and lifestyles.
The Tekton marks the second product under Nissan’s ‘One Car, One World’ strategy and will be manufactured at Nissan-Renault’s Chennai plant for sale in India and select global markets. Its striking design features a sculpted bonnet, C-shaped headlamps, muscular side profile, and a rear illuminated lightbar connecting dynamic tail-lamps, with subtle mountain motifs paying homage to the Himalayas.
Alfonso Albaisa, Corporate Executive at Nissan Motor, said, “The All-New Nissan Tekton is designed to disrupt, dominate, and deliver everything today’s modern Indian consumer desires.” Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan India, added that the model would spearhead Nissan’s growth in the country. Automobile enthusiasts and dealers are eagerly anticipating the Tekton’s arrival. Local showrooms report strong pre-launch interest, with many prospective buyers drawn to its premium features and commanding presence, signaling robust demand for the C-SUV segment in the Northeast market.
