At the hardest of time when the whole world went to lockdown in the fear of Corona virus prndamic, doctors, nurses, sweepers, journalists, police personals helped us to contain the pandemic. The sixth North Bengal Cine Awards dedicated to those cowardly fighters who are fighting the virus and fighting hard to keep the world healthy.
This is an initiative by the Cine Awards Committee to honor the ‘Corona Warriors’. The North Bengal Cinema Team has taken initiative to honor a total of 120 Corona fighters across North Bengal in a hotel at Siliguri. From doctors to nurses; from social worker to cleaner; journalist from the administration. This year’s North Bengal Cine Awards is a tribute to such heroes.
The flagship event will be inaugurated by Padma Shri Karimul Haque, a visionary of the society, the proud bike ambulance of North Bengal. Other prominent personalities as actor, producer, Arijit Dutt. prominent social worker Rupchand Prasad, Film tourism expert Raj Basu, Chaitali Banerjee, eminent essayist Gaurishankar Bhattacharya, Bhavaya artist Nazrul Islam are likely to be present at the event. In the presence of North Bengal film lovers and North Bengal artists, 120 ‘Covid Worriors’ will be honored.
