In a significant move aimed at fostering greater collaboration between India and Japan, NSDC International (NSDCI), a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), and Nippon Travel Agency Co., Ltd., a global workforce solutions company, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The partnership aims to raise awareness in Japan about hiring skilled professionals from India’s diverse sectors, addressing the growing demand for diverse talent and facilitating a seamless recruitment process. This landmark agreement was officially inked between Mr. Ajay Kumar Raina, Director & Chief Operating Officer of NSDCI, and Mr. Keigo Yoshida, Executive Officer & Chief of Headquarters at Nippon Travel Agency.
NSDC International and Nippon Travel have partnered to assist Indian companies in hiring skilled candidates, aiming to bridge the talent gap and improve workforce mobility. They will also organize seminars and workshops in both India and Japan, focusing on skill development and knowledge exchange. Speaking on this initiative, Mr. Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO, NSDC & MD NSDC International, said, “This initiative is a testament to our shared vision and commitment to excellence, underscoring our resolve to contribute to the economic and cultural growth of both the countries”.
