NSDC International, a subsidiary of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), has launched the Global Job Readiness Program (GJRP) in partnership with Deakin University, an Australian institution. The program aims to enhance India’s talent pool’s industry-relevant skills to meet the demands of the global job market and international industries. The GJRP is available on the Skill India Digital Hub platform, providing a user-friendly and accessible avenue for learners to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge.
The program offers two levels of proficiency: Foundation and Intermediate, determined by a pre-program assessment process. Indian youth will undergo live training sessions and build capabilities on diverse skills using videos, flip cards, diagrams, and other visuals. The program is delivered online, covering six critical areas.
Upon completion, students will undergo a post-program assessment and receive a digital badge and certification, helping them navigate the evolving employment landscape. The program also provides performance scale reports on pre and post-assessments. Sri Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO of NSDC and MD of NSDC International, stated that the integration of the program into the Skill India Digital Hub is a significant milestone in holistic skill development for aspiring students.
