Over 500 out of 700 OpenAI employees asked the company’s board to resign after it fired CEO Sam Altman and removed President Greg Brockman from the board after which Greg Brockman quit OpenAI. The OpenAI employees threatened to quit and join Microsoft if OpenAI’s current board didn’t resign. This is very sad news for OpenAI as their main people started a protest and it will damage the company’s performance.
Actually Sam Altman was playing a very important role in the company as from beginning he was important and without him the company will face many challenge. Removing its old employees can be very problematic for a company as they know everything as they are working from beginning and for every company it is important to manage their employees. Every employee in OpenAI got upset by this recent decision and they want to change it so that they work like previously.
