Actors Parineeti Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh are going to take part in filmmaker Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming movie Chamkila. Two famous Punjabi singers Amarjot Kaur and Amar Singh Chamkila is the main character of this film. In this film, Parineeti Chopra will play the role of Amarjot, and Diljit will be seen as Chamkila.
“Parineeti will be seen in the role of Amarjot Kaur while Diljit plays Chamkila – both the greatest singers of all time,” shared a source close to improvement.
The source added, “Parineeti is set to embark on this journey directed by Imtiaz Ali in Mumbai from December 11. The schedule will be shot in December and January with a gap of two months.”
