Paytm joined hands with TRTC enable online bus ticket booking

India’s One97 Communications Limited (OCL), the owner of Paytm, has partnered with Tripura Road Transport Corporation (TRTC) for online bus ticket booking, enhancing convenience for users. This move adds another state-owned transport company to Paytm’s offerings in the payments and financial services sector.

Paytm has launched an online ticket booking service for TRTC across AC buses, allowing users to book tickets for four routes: Agartala to Khowai, Khowai to Agartala, Agartala to Sabroom, and Sabroom to Agartala. The service also offers a 25% discount of up to Rs 100 for bookings made exclusively on the Paytm app. Paytm Spokesperson said, “Paytm’s partnership with TRTC will offer convenience to users, and smooth booking process with seamless travel in Tripura.”

TRTC is India’s 12th state-owned transport company integrated on Paytm, offering seamless bus ticket booking for private operators and state-run transport in various Indian states. The Paytm app offers a quick ticketing experience and free cancellation, with 100% refunds for tickets cancelled before 90 minutes of departure time for scheduled buses.
