A pedestrian was killed when a 19-year-old man driving a Jaguar ran over him in Kolkata. The pedestrian, identified as 45-year-old Shasti Das, a resident of Kolkata’s Picnic Garden, died on the spot, police said.
The Jaguar hit the two automobiles first before hitting the pedestrian, police said, citing witnesses. The driver Suesh Parashrampuria has been arrested.
