Pema Khandu, Conrad Sangma Condemn Racial Bias Against NE Women

Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu condemned the racial abuse experienced by three women from his state in South Delhi, calling it unacceptable and shameful. He has contacted the Delhi Police Commissioner for swift action, as the accused are currently absconding. Khandu emphasized the priority of safety, dignity, and justice for the victims. Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma also condemned the incident, highlighting the persistent issue of racial discrimination and sexual harassment against North East women. He urged for stringent actions against such perpetrators, stating that the abuse of women’s modesty is intolerable in a civilized society.
