Edtech firm PhysicsWallah (PW) has inaugurated its PW Info Centre in Agartala, Tripura, marking a significant step in extending counselling and coaching services for competitive exams such as JEE and NEET. The new centre, located on the 2nd floor of Brahma Bipani Market, Jaynagar, Battala, will operate daily from 9 AM to 7 PM, offering guidance to students and parents on admissions, financial aid, registration, and study strategies. The initiative is expected to cater to aspirants from surrounding regions including Uttar Champamura, Ishanchandranagar, Charipara, Ramnagar Part, Madhupur, and Madhuban, aiming to reduce the need for long-distance travel in search of counselling facilities. PW also plans to launch a tech-enabled Vidyapeethcentre nearby, providing structured courses for NEET and JEE preparation.
In Agartala, the move highlights the city’s growing status as an education hub in Tripura. Local parents and students see the arrival of PW as a welcome addition to the competitive coaching landscape, reducing dependency on centres in Guwahati or Kolkata. The demand for professional counselling and coaching has been steadily rising, and stakeholders in Agartala believe the new centre will boost educational opportunities within the local market. Ankit Gupta, CEO of Vidyapeeth-Offline, said, “The opening of the PW Info Centre in Agartala reflects our efforts to provide students in that region with access to counselling and educational guidance. Going forward, we plan to integrate this centre with a Vidyapeeth, offering courses related to NEET and JEE preparation.”
Meanwhile, PW has also announced the fourth edition of its PhysicsWallah National Scholarship Cum Admission Test (PWNSAT) 2025. Open for students from Class V to XII and recent graduates, the exam will be held in both online and offline modes between October 1 and October 15, with results scheduled for October 25.
