PM-KISAN’s 19th installment will give Rs 22.64 crore to Arunachal farmers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated during an event in Bhagalpur, Bihar, that farmers in Arunachal Pradesh would get Rs 22.64 crore as part of the 19th payment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN). The announcement was a component of a broader national campaign, with counterpart events being held at Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) all over the nation. These featured displays that showcased sustainable agriculture methods, such as those that focused on Natural Farming, Organic Farming, and GI-tagged products.

Alongside senior department officials, State Agriculture Minister Gabriel D. Wangsu participated electronically in the event. He praised the program’s effect on the rural economy and recognized the motivational remarks made by well-known speakers. PM-KISAN is a central sector program that was introduced by the Indian government with the goal of giving land-holding farmers direct financial assistance. About Rs 22,000 crore would be deposited straight into the bank accounts of 9.8 crore farmers across the country as part of the 19th installment. As part of the yearly reward of Rs 6,000, each qualifying farmer would receive Rs 2,000, which will be paid out in three payments.
