PM Modi on Sunday took to Twitter to wish the citizens on the event of Eid ul-Adha and wrote, “Eid Mubarak! Greetings on Eid-ul-Adha. May this festive inspire us to work toward furthering the spirit of collective well-being and prosperity for the betterment of humankind.”
Congress’s Rahul Gandhi also tweeted on the occasion and wrote, “Eid Mubarak! May the auspicious event of Eid-al-Adha usher in the spirit of togetherness and convey peace, prosperity and happiness for all.”
Union minister Smriti Irani also twitted and wrote, “Greetings on the event of Eid-ul-Adha. May this day motivate the spirit of compassion in society.”
Defence minister Rajnath Singh additionally wished anybody “happiness and prosperity” on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.
The Border Security Force (BSF) additionally celebrated the occasion through changing sweets with the Pakistan Rangers at the Attari-Wagah border.
