Pralhad Joshi to attend key government programs during official visit to Tripura

Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Pralhad Joshi, will be in Tripura for a two-day official visit starting December 28. During his visit, Joshi will participate in various government programs and meetings. His itinerary includes a visit to the Food Corporation of India (FCI) office at Nandannagar, followed by an inspection of the state’s food godowns. He will also chair a meeting with officials from the FCI and Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) to discuss operational matters.

On the evening of December 28, Joshi will attend a review meeting at the Secretariat, focusing on central schemes related to food distribution, public health, aspirational districts, and renewable energy. Chief Minister Manik Saha will also be present at the meeting to discuss the implementation of these initiatives. On the second day of his visit, December 29, Joshi will travel to Charilam in Sepahijala District to inspect a renewable energy program organized by the Tripura Renewable Energy Development Agency (TREDA). He is also expected to engage with local residents during the visit.

The minister will conclude his trip with a visit to the Mata Tripureshwari Temple in Udaipur before returning to Bengaluru later that day.
