According to state BJP president Chandrashekhar Bawankule, more members of the opposition camp will switch to the BJP before the 2024 elections. The BJP leader also said that he was unable to predict any names from the Opposition bloc who would change their allegiances while speaking to reporters in Shirdi, Ahmednagar district. Both the Maharashtra Assembly and Lok Sabha elections are scheduled for the next year.
