Two brothers & owner of a thyrocare center arrested by KolkataPolice for providing fake Covid test report. Accused had collected the sample for Covid test from a patient’s home and provided them a negative report.
according to the patient, a bank manager later found positive when his condition deteriorated and has died at M. R Bangur Hospital on July 30. Family members filed a complaint against the ‘Lab’ at Netajinagar PS. Investigation reveals that the report was fake. Lab techy brothers falsely introduced themselves as the workers of a private Covid testing lab. Took ₹2000 from the patient party for the test. And sent them a false hand written report on ICMR form.
