Puducherry reports new COVID-19 cases

Puducherry recorded seven new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours ending 10 am on Saturday, taking the overall caseload to 1,65,832, a senior health department official said.

Director of Health G Sriramulu said the department evaluated 1,251 samples and seven new cases were found during testing.

The death toll in the union territory remains at 1,962.

The health department has tested 22,42,824 samples so far and 18,87,861 of them have been found negative.
