PVR INOX Ltd introduces Passport, a monthly subscription pass for movie enthusiasts

Indians have a strong love for cinema, with new releases being a weekly highlight. However, due to rising costs, the appeal of these theater outings has somewhat diminished. PVR INOX Ltd, India’s largest multiplex chain, is launching the Passport, a monthly subscription pass for movie lovers. Starting October 16th, 2023, subscribers can watch up to 10 movies per month for just Rs. 699/, excluding the convenience fee. The pass is available from Mondays to Thursdays and is available for a limited period of 20,000 subscriptions.

Movie enthusiasts can purchase three-month subscription Passports for PVR & INOX cinemas in India. These non-transferrable tickets can be redeemed at checkout and multiple tickets can be used with one coupon. The Passport is valid at all PVR & INOX cinemas across India, except in Southern states and certain cities. Commenting on the PVR Passport launch, Gautam Dutta – Co-CEO of PVR INOX Ltd. said, “We are sure that our customer-centric innovation would also enhance viewership for content across genres, as audiences can now enjoy more movies while exploring newer varieties of content, without spending much.”
