RBL Bank’s CSR initiative UMEED 1000 rolls out, empowers girl child education with bicycles and school kits

RBL Bank has reaffirmed its commitment to social responsibility with the launch of its CSR initiative – UMEED 1000. In a heartening gesture, the bank distributed 300 bicycles and school kits to underprivileged girl students in Guwahati, Assam, as part of its ongoing efforts to support girl child education.

The donation event, graced by dignitaries such as Smt. Aruna Rajoria, IAS, and senior representatives from RBL Bank, witnessed the enthusiastic participation of the beneficiaries at the Khanapara Sports & Cultural Organisation. This initiative, aimed at addressing the challenge of access to education, particularly for those hindered by distance, marks a significant step towards fostering inclusivity in education.
