In Tamil Nadu’s Thanjavur district, due to climate change farmers are skipping the summer paddy crop. Rising temperatures and failed monsoons have depleted groundwater and increased soil salinity impacting crop cycles and yields. In fact farmers face increased costs and are shifting to less water intensive crops but struggle with profitability and sustainability in agriculture. Actually agriculture is very important for human being as we cannot survive without food and for this reason we should give credit to the farmers.
Today we are living in a very advanced world where we have everything that we need but in this we forget how food is crucial for us. In reality if you see farmers have a very important role in our life as without them we will not get any food. In fact farmers work very hard for whole year to give food in our plate and for this reason we should respect them. From this case we can get how difficult is farmers life is and what type of problems they have to face. We should try from our side to help them so that we live a good life.
