Recently an atmosphere of tension and panic gripped the residents of Fulbari after a rusted mortar shell was found lying around in a parking lot adjacent to the Indo-Bangladesh Border in Amaidighi of Fulbari. According to reports, the Teesta River water had carried sand and stones to the parking lot area. Similarly, the mortar shell was actually washed away and carried by the Teesta River. Notably, similar incidents had occurred in the Teesta flood disaster in the previous year.
In fact the NJP police station was immediately alerted of the incident. Subsequently, the officials actually rushed to the scene and retrieved the mortar shell. This is actually very serious issue and people should take it very strictly so that they don’t get big trouble for it. Today we need a peaceful life and for this reason we should not take any risk. If we find any serious issue like this then we should inform about it immediately.
