Renowned Author Dr. Rita Chowdhury set to enthrall Bangladesh with “Zero Hour” novel launch

Dr. Rita Chowdhury, the esteemed author and recipient of the Sahitya Akademi Award, is poised to grace Bangladesh with her literary prowess during a series of events from April 19 to 23. The eagerly anticipated visit will culminate in the official launch of her latest masterpiece, “Zero Hour,” a compelling narrative chronicling the Bangladesh Liberation War. The invitation extended to Dr. Chowdhury signifies a significant literary milestone for Bangladesh, as enthusiasts eagerly await the unveiling of “Zero Hour.” Written originally in Bengali, the novel has captivated readers with its poignant portrayal of historical events and themes transcending borders.

At the helm of the novel’s launch stands Bangladesh’s Foreign Minister, Mohammed Hasan Mahmud, emphasizing the cultural and historical significance of Dr. Chowdhury’s work. Joining the prestigious lineup are Mohammad Nurul Huda, Director General of Bangla Academy, Bangladesh, and Bir Pratik Habibul Alam, Crack Platoon Leader, adding to the event’s distinguished aura.
