In a pivotal move for the Siang Upper Multipurpose Project (SUMP), the Government of Arunachal Pradesh and Pangkang Jorkong village residents signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) allowing for Pre-Feasibility Report (PFR) activities. The MoU is specifically for PFR, with plans for consultations with Project Affected Families (PAFs) post-feasibility, and development packages aimed at sustainable growth for PAFs.
