During a consultation meeting, he stressed the need for coordinated efforts involving NGOs, village councils, police, and security forces to address these issues due to their potential long-term implications. He proposed an Inter-District Joint Meeting and surprise checks on undocumented immigrants, and announced the formation of a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Drafting Committee to finalize enforcement measures by mid-February. The Lai Autonomous District Council was also urged to cooperate in developing a comprehensive SOP, with participation from various local authorities and organizations.
