Veteran Singer Asha Bhosle turns an year older on her 90th birth anniversary. The playback singer celebrates her birthday on 8th of September every year. She married to R.D Burman after getting divorce from her first husband Ganpatrao Bhosle.
Asha Bhosle started her singing career when she was only 9 years old with song Chala Chala Nav Bala in Marathi movie Majha Bal.
Bhosle was honoured with two national awards and was also the recipient of three Grammy nominations.
To commemorate the special occasion cricketer Sachin Tendulkar penned a heartful birthday note for the singer and posted it on twitter along with a picture of a singer sitting on a chair. The cricketer and his wife Anjali Tendulkar are standing on either side with one hand each clasped with Bhosle.
His X read, “Dear Asha Tai, Itne saalon se ‘Chura Liya Hai’ aapki awaaz ne jo dil ko, par aapki awaaz ke saamne, ‘Dil Cheez Kya Hai’.
