Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Debuts in India With Exynos 2500 Processor and 4,900mAh Battery

Samsung has expanded its Fan Edition smartphone range in India with the launch of the Galaxy S26 FE. The new handset comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, a 120Hz refresh rate and Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset. It also features a triple rear camera system with a 50-megapixel main sensor and a telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom.

The Galaxy S26 FE runs One UI 9 based on Android 17 and is the Galaxy S26 series model to arrive with Samsung’s latest software. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and offers up to 1,900 nits of peak brightness.

Powering the smartphone is Samsung’s Exynos 2500 processor, built using a 3nm process. It is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Samsung has committed to providing seven years of software and security updates for the device.

The rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel wide-angle primary camera with OIS, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 123-degree field of view and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with OIS and 3x optical zoom. For selfies and video calls, the phone gets a 12-megapixel front camera. The handset also features Gemini Omni, which can be used to create and edit video clips from photos and videos saved in the Gallery.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth 5.4. The phone supports dual SIM functionality with nano-SIM cards.

The smartphone is equipped with a 4,900mAh battery and supports 45W wired charging. According to Samsung, the battery can reach up to 69 per cent in around 30 minutes with a 45W adapter. It also supports 15W fast wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare.

Measuring 161.6 x 76.9 x 7.4mm and weighing 193 grams, the Galaxy S26 FE also comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

The phone is available in a single 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. It is priced at Rs. 79,999 and comes in Pistachio, Blueberry and Graphite colour options.

For launch, Samsung is offering an upgrade bonus of up to Rs. 8,000 on exchanging an old smartphone. Buyers can also get up to 30 months of no-cost EMI through select NBFC partners, along with an additional Rs. 3,000 upgrade bonus. Other offers include up to Rs. 7,000 cashback on major bank cards and a 12-month no-cost bank EMI option. Purchases through Samsung’s e-store are also eligible for an 18-month bank EMI option.
