Sanatan Raksha Sangathan Puts Up Posters in Hazratganj, Gomti Nagar and Kapurthala Areas

With Dussehra and Diwali season, political rivalry has once again taken a heated turn in the capital city of Uttar Pradesh. On Sunday morning, a controversial hoarding was seen in various important and VIP areas of Lucknow city. Widespread sensation was created across the region after hoardings were put up featuring photos of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and several other national-international personalities in place of the ten heads of Lanka’s King Ravan.

At the very top of the circulated hoarding, it is written in big letters “Ravans Opposed to Sanatan Bharat”. These posters have been put up in various residential and commercial areas of the city including Hazratganj MLA residence, Gomti Nagar and Kapurthala, under the initiative of an organization named ‘Sanatan Raksha Sangathan’. In the hoarding, besides Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav, photos of Elon Musk, Muhammad Yunus, Mukhtar Ansari, Azam Khan, Ilhan Omar, George Soros and in the central position, slain Atiq Ahmed have been used in place of Ravan’s ten heads. Passersby were seen stopping to look at the pictures of this controversial hoarding.

According to the representative of the organization that put up the hoarding, this step has been taken with the aim of identifying before the public those persons who are considered to be opposed to Sanatan Dharma and patronizing Jihadi mentality. The organization alleged that while in power, these people did not work in the interest of Sanatan and had been continuously insulting it. From the Babri Masjid issue onwards, accusing them of taking anti-religious stances at various times, the organization claimed that the hoarding was put up to create awareness so that people across the world, including followers of Sanatan Dharma, do not fall prey to the instigation of such persons.

A fierce political war of words has now begun over such a smear campaign against top leaders of the opposition parties in the heart of the capital.
