Sangai Festival Wraps Up; Governor Highlights Tourism Push and Cultural Resilience

The 12th Manipur Sangai Festival concluded on November 30 at the Bhagyachandra Open-Air Theatre, where Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla emphasized its growing significance as a cultural outreach platform on both national and international levels. The closing ceremony attracted a diverse group of attendees, including tourism stakeholders from across India and abroad. Governor Bhalla remarked that the festival ended “on a note of unity and cultural pride,” despite the challenges facing the state.
