Sanofi Consumer Healthcare India posts 33% revenue growth in Q1 FY26, PAT rises 36%

Sanofi Consumer Healthcare India Limited on Monday reported a strong financial performance for the first quarter of FY26, posting a 33 per cent year-on-year rise in revenue to ₹2,292 million, driven by steady domestic demand and a sharp increase in export sales.

The company said domestic sales grew by 15.5 per cent during the quarter, supported by the relaunch of previously recalled products in the market. Export sales witnessed a significant jump of 144 per cent compared to the same period last year, mainly due to a lower base effect.

Profit after tax (PAT) for the quarter stood at ₹678 million, marking a 36 per cent increase year-on-year.

Commenting on the performance, Himanshu Bakshi said the company’s results reflected “consistent, disciplined execution” across its major markets. He added that the domestic business outpaced the market, delivering both market share gains and volume growth, while exports also contributed meaningfully to overall growth.

In Kolkata, the company’s improved domestic performance and product relaunch strategy could strengthen its presence in eastern India, where demand for self-care and over-the-counter healthcare products has been witnessing steady growth. Distributors in the Kolkata market are also expecting higher consumer traction for trusted healthcare brands amid rising health awareness.
