Guwahati-based senior hb journalist Trideep Lahkar has received an award for ‘Excellence in Journalistic Reporting on Smuggling and Counterfeiting Issues’ from the leading industry body Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI). The award was given by Hon’ble Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul, Judge of Supreme Court of India on Friday (23rd September 2022) during the Valedictory Session of the two-day 8th MASCRADE 2022 event, held at Hotel Shangri-La Eros in New Delhi. Commenting on the award, Mr Lahkar said: “It is really satisfying to get recognised for my work. I have always tried to highlight the issues, which affect the society and its people. I am thankful to the FICCI for this. I am also sincerely grateful to all my colleagues and seniors for their constant guidance and encouragement to write on the issues that matter most.”
