Seven Raids in 48 Hours Yield Major Narcotics Seizure in Cachar

In a span of 48 hours, Cachar police executed seven raids, leading to the seizure of narcotic substances worth approximately Rs 5 crore in the international market. Additionally, the authorities recovered 1,050 bags of Bharat Urea Fertilisers and arrested thirteen individuals tied to these operations.

In recent police operations, 10 soap cases containing 119.11 grams of heroin were seized in the first raid. During a second operation in Dholai, an additional 49 grams of heroin in 4 soap cases was recovered, leading to the arrest of a peddler. The police conducted two more operations in Silchar, resulting in a total seizure of 402.90 grams of heroin, 24,000 Yaba tablets, and 2.113 kg of ganja.
