SGMA to host its first international uniform and garment exhibition in Varanasi

Taking forward Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘s dream of major growth in uniform industry across the country and making Solapur in Maharashtra the hub of it, Solapur Garment Manufacturers Association (SGMA) has decided to take its annual exhibition to Hon Prime Minister’s own constituency and one of the key cities with enormous growth Potential Varanasi this year. SGMA plans to host a mega annual event featuring over 10,000 uniform clothing designs from 200 leading brands, alongside 20,000 on display.

The 7th Uniform Exhibition by SGMA will take place in Kashi Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, from December 16th to 18th, 2023. Inspired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s words, the event is set to take on a new scale. Shri Satish Pawar will be the Chairman and Shri Prakash Pawar will be the Secretary. The World Uniform Market is expected to reach $25 billion by 2030, according to Prakash Pawar, Secretary of the Organising Committee.

The first uniform exhibition in Uttar Pradesh, India, will feature over 200 brands, including leading manufacturers like Mafatlal, Valji, Qmax, Sangam, and Sparsh, showcasing over 10,000 uniform designs and 20,000 garments.
