Shyam Steel Industries Ltd has organized a Winter Carnival at Dadabhai Sporting Club ground in Siliguri under its initiative is to help the citizens to develop healthy habits and realize the importance of well-being. The carnival was 3 hour long started at morning 6:30 to 9:30. The carnival featured several activities as- cycling for the little ones, slow cycling for the adults, walkathon, yoga etc.
Members of the Administrative Board of Siliguri Municipal Corporation, Ranjan Sarkar, Swapan Das; General Manager of Shyam Steel (Marketing) Binod Jain; Naresh Chowdhury, Ajay Chowdhury and General Manager of Uttarbangasambad, Pralay Kanti Chakraborty were present at the event.
In these trying times, the health of every citizen should be top priority, keeping this in mind and with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s Green Initiative, Shyam Steel is organizing such events across the state in five locations. After Siliguri, this street carnival will be held in Medinipur, Bolpur, Krishnanagar and Chandannagar.
