SBI stops the handling trade with sanctioned Russian entities

The top lender of India will not process any transactions involving Russian entities subject to international sanctions imposed on Russia after its invasion of Ukraine. SBI also urged to clients the extra precautions while handling any transactions related to sanctioned countries. SBI also sought information from Indian oil companies about their exposure to Russia including stakes in Russian assets, funds received from Russia in the previous year and lenders involved in routing these transactions. Indonesia’s 17,000 islands are vulnerable to frequent earthquakes as the country falls in the Pacific Ring of Fire, a horseshoe-shaped belt of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes. Indonesian Agency for Meteorological, Climatological and Geophysics (BMKG) said that Earthquake of 6.2 magnitudes hits near the western coast of Sumatra Island of Indonesia. The earthquake's epicentre was on land and had no tsunami potential. As per United States Geological Survey (USGS), the seismic event occurred at a depth of 12.3 km at 7.09am (local time).
