Explosion near Army Camp at Jorhat, no casualty

A mild blast was reported at an Army Camp of Lichubari in Assam’s Jorhat district and United Liberation Front of Asom (I) has claimed its responsibility for the blast, on Thursday. According to the reports, after grenade blast in Sivasagar and Tinsukia district this is the third time attack claimed by ULFA-I. Also the blast was mild and no casualty is reported. Supreme Court directs two police officers for Manipur violence

Manipur witnessed immense violence for months in the state; the Supreme Court has finally directed to take charge for Special Investigation Teams (SITs) for the violence in the state, Manipur. Man beheads a woman and tries to flee, Police arrested the accused

A man from Tinsukia district, Assam beheads a woman tea plucker, after the crime the man tried to flee but later surrendered in front of the police. As per investigation the intension of the crime is not yet clear. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 2019 has decided to strip disputed Jammu and Kashmir’s special status as a semi-autonomous region as the decision was necessary for the moment and temporary.
