17 booked for allegedly ragging a student at Medical College Hostel

A 24 year old student of a G S Medical College of mumbai was allegedly ragged and against 17 of them were registered a file, KEM Hospital approached the police. According to the complaint, his hostel roommates and other students would verbally abuse, pitch casteist slurs and threaten him. In last three years in various occasions he was harassed and many incidents occurred in the presence of the hostel waden, who didn’t take any action against it.
