UP Zilla Panchayat Election 2021

The Election Commission on Monday announced the dates for the three-tier UP District Panchayat President election 2021 and it will be held from June 15 to July 3. Earlier, panchayat elections were held in 75 districts of UP in four phases. The polling were held on April 15, April 19, April 26, and April 29. According to the State Election Commissioner, polling is to be held on six District Panchayat posts in Rae Bareli, Unnao, Lakhimpur Kheri, Varanasi and Badaun. The West Bengal government on Monday extended the coronavirus lockdown in the state till July 1, in order to curb the spread of infection.
