Indian Medical Association demands action against Ramdev for calling allopathy ‘stupid science’

On Saturday, the Indian Medical Association(IMA) demanded the central government to take action against yoga guru Ramdev after he allegedly called allopathy a “stupid science” and also for blaming it for the death of Covid patients. The current ‘low pressure area’ over Bay of Bengal is very likely to intensify into a “very severe cyclonic storm” on May 25 and will reach north Bay of Bengal near West Bengal and adjoining north Odisha and Bangladesh coasts around May 26 morning, said the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in its update on Saturday. A children’s poem in Class 1 Hindi textbooks published by the NCERT has been the subject of criticism on social media.
