Karnataka CM B S Yediyurappa tests positive for Covid-19

Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa today tweeted to say that he had tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday extended the night curfew timings in Noida, Ghaziabad, Lucknow and 7 other districts having over 2,000 active COVID-19 cases.

The districts where night curfew timings have been changed are: Lucknow, Allahabad, Varanasi, Kanpur, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Meerut and Gorakhpur. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday urged the central government to cancel the CBSE board exams. As Maharashtra’s COVID cases spiral, CM orders curfew for 15 days

After a meeting with PM Narendra Modi, the Ministry of Education has decided to postpone the class 12 exams and cancel the class 10 board exams. For CBSE class 12 boards, the situation will be reviewed on June 1 and revised dates will be announced thereafter.
