PAN-Aadhaar linking: Today (March 31) is the last date for linking the Permanent Account Number (PAN) to Aadhaar. Any failure to do so will make PAN cards inoperative or no longer in use from April 1. This will affect customers as they will not be allowed to carry out transactions wherever quoting of PAN is mandatory. Delhi Airport Covid-19 Testing: Passengers who are found positive for Covid-19 at Delhi airport will be mandatorily quarantined.

The Delhi Disaster Management Authority has said that passengers arriving in Delhi from states witnessing a surge in Covid-19 cases may be tested randomly for infection. It said that the random testing will be conducted at the Delhi Airport, all railway stations, Inter-state Bus Terminals (ISBT) and other alighting points. The order said that passengers who are found positive for infection will be mandatorily quarantine either at home or at a hospital for at least 10 days. Following the recent spike in Covid-19 cases, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has decided to seal any residential society in Mumbai that reports five or more Covid-19 cases. “We are seeing a higher positivity rate in high rises than in slums and 'chawls'.
