J&K : 2 militants killed in Sopore encounter.

Two unidentified militants were on Thursday killed during a search and cordon operation in north Kashmir’s Sopore. "Two militants have been killed in the operation in Sopore’s Hardshiva area. Their identities and affiliations were being ascertained,” said a police official. The encounter began early Thursday after a joint team of the Army's 22RR, Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search-operation at the spot for terrorists.
