The lead Government has earlier announced about Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) implementation in the country. Union Home Minister Amit Shah ahead of the upcoming Lok sabha elections has gained social media buzz over the internet on arriving in a car with a distinctive number plate. The Minister and BJP leader during a meeting arrived in a car with a number plate 'DL1C AA 4421'. However, CAA aims to grant citizenship to persecuted non-Muslim migrants from Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Afghanistan arriving in India before December 31, 2014.

Man kills and then abundant boy in Pune

A shocking incident unfolded in Maharashtra's Pune where a man killed 8 years boy after sexual abuse. According to the sources, the victim went missing on Saturday . Later, the police examined CCTV footage in the suspected area where a 28 year old boy identified as Pawan Pandey abundant the victim. The police stated that, "Pandey was arrested on Sunday. He has confessed he sexually assaulted the boy before strangling him and dumping the body in Bavdhan area." The leader is expected to resign from the party, Congress and join the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP). Assam Education Minister questioned regarding the ongoing issues

Testing of water network to be conducted within the city, Guwahati

Father-in-law kills daughter, accused arrested

A man from Nagaon, Assam killed his daughter-in-law and also injured her daughter on Thursday night. According to the sources, the accused is identified as Muruli Tani.
