To create awareness against child marriage in Assam, village-level meeting was held in concern to impose Bal Panchayat to end child marriage completely. Assam woman kills her own husband and mother-in-law

A woman in Assam killed her husband and mother-in-law and transported pieces of the bodies packed in polythene to Meghalaya. Police shot dead bike lifter

Jorhat fire incident destroys shops

A massive fire broke out at Jorhat, Chow Bazaar, Assam, no casualty reported during the outbreak, Police informed. The world’s largest cruise, MV Ganga Vilas ship has reached Assam today, Friday. The cruise has been travelling to Assam after completing its journey from Bangladesh.
