Simple Energy, India’s leading electric vehicle and clean energy start-up, has officially launched its maiden electric 2-wheeler, the Simple ONE, at an attractive starting price of INR 1,45,000. The Super EV-Simple ONE will be available at a price of INR 1,58,000, which includes a 750W charger. The Simple ONE has undergone a series of improvement cycles and is finally ready to make a mark on Indian roads.
The booking commencement for Simple ONE has received a great response, with the company registering over 1 lakh pre bookings in 18 months. With the official launch, the company plans to facilitate customer deliveries in a phased manner and ramp up its retail operations in the next 12 months.
The Simple ONE is the longest range E2W in India and the fastest E2W in its segment, sprinting to 0-40 kmph in 2.77 seconds. It also has a thermal management system developed with IIT-Indore to mitigate thermal runaways.
