Former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satyapal Malik, who is well-known for his frank and uncompromising opinions, said after the Union Home Ministry decided to revoke the Z-plus security cover that had been granted to him that the central government would be liable if anything happened to him.
Malik claimed to have learned that, despite being one of the strongest security barriers an Indian leader can have, he will no longer be protected by elite commandos under the Z-plus bracket.
