Skoda Slavia Facelift Launch Scheduled for October 6: Explore Features and Specifications

Following its unveiling in August 2026, Skoda has officially confirmed that the much-awaited Skoda Slavia facelift will be launched in the Indian market on October 6, 2026, with local production having recently commenced. While the 2026 facelift retains the overall silhouette of the previous-generation model, it introduces several distinctive design enhancements, including a new set of headlights and taillights, a revised front grille featuring segmented LED DRLs reminiscent of the Skoda Kushaq, a connecting silver trim on the rear bearing Skoda lettering, and a fresh design for the alloy wheels. The updated sedan will be available in a total of ten striking colour options comprising Shimla Green, Brilliant Silver, Steel Grey, Lava Blue, Deep Black, Cherry Red, Carbon Steel, Candy White, Arctic Silver, and Cappuccino Beige, with the last two being newly introduced shades and deliveries for the Cappuccino Beige variant scheduled to begin from December 2026 onwards. Inside the cabin, the Skoda Slavia facelift comes packed with a host of modern features such as a new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, rear seats equipped with a massage function, and a 360-degree camera, though highly anticipated additions like a panoramic sunroof and a Level 2 ADAS suite are absent, leaving the mid-size sedan with its traditional single-pane sunroof. Under the hood, the car retains its previous powertrain options, continuing with a 1-litre turbo petrol TSI engine and a 1.5-litre TSI turbo petrol engine, but the 1.0-litre unit has been upgraded with a new 8-speed automatic torque converter transmission replacing the former 6-speed unit, while the 1.5-litre engine continues to be paired with the 7-speed Dual Clutch Automatic transmission.
