Sony BBC Earth unveiled its marquee property, ‘Earth Champions’

Sony BBC Earth has launched ‘Earth Champions’, which will inspire viewers as interesting 3-minute capsules, whisking them away on an extraordinary voyage through nature’s kaleidoscope. Starting November 6, 2023, the series will tell stories of nature enthusiasts and ordinary citizens, highlighting the power of individual actions in promoting positive change. The channel will also honor and celebrate real-life heroes each month who address issues such as forest restoration, waste management, water, and air purification.

The first episode will feature ‘Mr. Jadav Payeng’, also known as the Forest Man of India. Hailing from Assam he has transformed barren lands into thriving man-made forests and received the Padma Shri award for his selfless efforts. The show aims to provide engaging storytelling for viewers.
