Spain beat Germany to reach the semi-finals of the Euros

Farewell to Germany at home ground. The big crash of the euro. Just when everyone was waiting for the tiebreaker, Spanish star Mikael Merino shined. Spain dominated in the first half, and Germany turned around in the second half. They played well and got a goal at the last minute of the scheduled time. Substitute Fulkrug’s header went just over the bar in the 64th minute. Finally, in the 89th minute, Florian Virtz, the best footballer in the current season’s Bundesliga, gave Germany the desired goal. He scored with his right foot from Jatla inside the D-box to bring the team to 1-1. The match goes into extra time.

Attacks and counter-attacks continued in the second half of extra time. In the 106th minute, Jamal Musiala’s shot hit Cucurella, but the referee did not award a penalty. But in the 119th minute, Merino lit up like a comet. He scored a superb header from a Dani Olmock cross to give the team a memorable 2-1 win.
