SpiceJet Q2 Results

SpiceJet on November 12 announced its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 (Q2FY26), reporting a net loss of ₹621 crore, compared to ₹458 crore in the same quarter last year. The loss also widened sequentially from ₹234 crore in the June quarter (Q1FY26). Revenue from operations dropped 13.4% year-on-year to ₹792 crore, down from ₹915 crore in Q2FY25.

The airline said results were affected by dollar-linked obligations, costs related to grounded aircraft, and higher spending on restoring planes to service. On an EBITDAR (ex-forex) basis, the carrier posted a loss of ₹204 crore versus ₹58.87 crore a year earlier. Passenger Revenue per Available Seat Kilometre (PAX RASK) was ₹4.04, with a Passenger Load Factor of 84.3%.

During the quarter, SpiceJet launched a major fleet expansion, signing leases for 19 aircraft to enhance capacity and international operations. Chairman and MD Ajay Singh said the quarter focused on rebuilding and positioning for growth, expressing confidence that these strategic investments will drive improved operational and financial performance in the second half of FY26.
