Star Health and Allied Insurance spends over Rs. 3 crores to settle the claims in Dibrugarh

Star Health and Allied Insurance, India’s leading standalone health insurer, announced that it has cleared claims worth overRs.3 crores in Dibrugarh during the past 18 months, i.e., between April 2022- September 2023.The company paid Rs.2 crore in claim settlements to network hospitals and over Rs.1 crore in claim settlement to non-network hospitals in the region.

Star Health settled over Rs.2 crores in cashless claim settlements and Rs.1 crore in reimbursement claim settlements in Dibrugarh, ensuring customer satisfaction. Cashless claims were settled within 2 hours, and reimbursement claims were paid within 7 days of claim submission, reducing hassles for customers. 

From April 2022 to September 2023, surgical treatments in Dibrugarh received the majority of claims, amounting to Rs.2 crore in claims pay-out and over Rs.1 crore in claims settlements, with Rs.1 crore for women and Rs.2 crore for men. Sharing his insights, Mr. Sanath Kumar K, Chief Claims Officer, Star Health and Allied Insurance Co. Ltd. said, “We continue to increase our network of hospitals in the city thereby ensuring our customers receive high-quality treatments at affordable rates at a hospital close to their residence.”
